i got accepted into culinary program at scottsdale community college [scc]. that's where i will go during the academic year. last tuesday, i had meeting with the culinary program director. we discussed everything. after that, she told me i will get measurement for uniforms and pick the knives you want for cooking sessions. i was like, am i accepted already? and i wanted to ask her question. yes, she said, you are accepted, welcome to scottsdale community college. i am thankful that they accepted me for culinary program. i already picked the knives what i wanted and measurement for uniforms as well.

august 25th is the first day of school. i am truly looking forward to it. i haven't been in school since fall quarter of 2005 at rochester institute of technology [rit]. i left rit the next quarter due to financial problem. and now, i am back to school again. amen! they already gave me the schedule for fall semester and mother of god, i have SEVEN classes. no worries, i am up for it. all of them care culinary courses.

my dream comes true, not yet, it's on the way. it's getting in there.

congratulations. no, i mean, mazel tov, dmitri. jeez, no!

MAZEL TOV, CHEF GADAEV!

72 more days to go. am i crazy, yes or no? :]

[WEEKLY LAUGH]

A Doctor, a Lawyer, a little boy and an old man were out for a Sunday afternoon flight on a small private plane. Suddenly, the plane developed engine trouble. In spite of the best efforts of the pilot, the plane started to go down. Finally, the pilot grabbed a parachute, yelled to the passengers that they had better jump, and bailed out. Unfortunately, there were only three parachutes remaining. The doctor grabbed one and said I'm a doctor, I save lives, so I must live, and jumped out. The lawyer then said, I'm a lawyer and lawyers are the smartest people in the world. I deserve to live. He also grabbed a parachute and jumped. The old man looked at the little boy and said, My son, I've lived a long and full life. You are young and have your whole life ahead of you. Take the last parachute and live in peace. The little boy handed the parachute back to the old man and said, Not to worry, The 'smartest man in the world' just took off with my back pack.

WEEKLY LAUGH

how do i get to the capitol building?

a person was visiting washington, dc for the first time. he wanted to see the captiol building. unfortunately, he couldn't find it, so he asked a police officer for directions - excuse me, officer, how do i get to the capitol building? the officer replied, wait here at this bus stop for the number 54. it will take you right there. he thanked the officer and he drives off. three hours later the police offier returned tot he same area and, sure enough, this person is still waiting at the same bus stop. the officer got out of his car and said, excuse me, but to get to the capitol building, i said to wait here for the number 54 bus and that was three hours ago! why are you still waiting? the person replied, don't worry, officer, it won't be long now.... the 45th bus just went by!
